Your site is slow. We make it measurably faster.

A full optimisation pass by an engineer, for a flat $299. You get before and after numbers from Google's own tools, so you can check the result yourself rather than taking our word for it.

after 3s

before the page has finished loading

Six things, in the order they usually matter.

Most speed advice is twenty tips in no particular order. In practice a handful of causes account for nearly every slow WordPress site, and we work through them worst first.

Server and caching

Page caching configured properly — one layer, not three fighting each other — plus GZIP or Brotli, browser caching and a CDN where it helps.

Images

Bulk converted to WebP, resized to what the layout actually needs, compressed, lazy-loaded below the fold, with width and height set so the page stops jumping as it loads.

Render-blocking CSS and JavaScript

Deferred, combined or removed so the browser can paint sooner. Tested afterwards on every template, because this is the optimisation most likely to break a layout.

Database

Autoloaded options trimmed, expired transients cleared, revisions limited, orphaned metadata from removed plugins deleted. Carefully — this is where people break things.

Plugin audit

We measure what each plugin costs you in load time and tell you which ones are not worth what they do. Removing one bad plugin often beats every other change combined.

Core Web Vitals

Targeted at Google's actual thresholds — LCP, INP and CLS — rather than a vanity score. These are what affect rankings.

What you get

  • Before and after PageSpeed and Core Web Vitals, mobile and desktop
  • The work done on a staging copy first where your host provides one
  • Every template tested afterwards, not just the homepage
  • A written summary of what changed and why
  • A list of anything we found that needs a decision from you
  • 30 days of follow-up if something looks off afterwards

What we will tell you honestly

If your hosting is the bottleneck, no optimisation fixes it, and we will say so rather than taking your money for a 10% gain. Shared hosting with a time to first byte above 600ms needs moving, not tuning.

If a page builder is the cause, we will tell you that too. There is a ceiling on how fast some builders can go, and it is better to know where the ceiling is before you pay to approach it.

In either case we will refund you and point you at what would actually work — which is often our host migration.

One optimisation, or never being slow again?

A single pass fixes today. Sites get slower again — new images, new plugins, new content — and the second slowdown is the one nobody notices. On Standard and Pro care plans a speed pass runs every quarter, which over a year costs less than two one-off optimisations.
