Terms of service

These terms govern the services provided by Webenova (Almada, Portugal) trading as WP Site Kept, at wpsitekept.com. By purchasing a care plan or a cleanup you agree to them.

What we provide

Care plans cover one WordPress site each, at the level described on the pricing page in force when you subscribe: updates, backups, monitoring, security hardening, support and, depending on the plan, a monthly allowance of fixes and edits. Cleanups cover the removal of malware from one WordPress site and the closing of the entry point we identify.

What we do not provide

• Hosting, domain registration or email services. You keep those accounts in your name.
• New pages, redesigns, content writing, SEO or marketing work.
• Custom development beyond your included hours, unless separately quoted and approved.
• Support for sites that are not WordPress, or WordPress installations we cannot access.

Access and your responsibilities

You are responsible for giving us the access we need, for keeping your hosting account in good standing, and for telling us about anything unusual on the site. You confirm you are authorised to grant access to the site you submit. We may pause work if access is withdrawn or if the hosting environment makes the work unsafe to perform.

Included hours

Hours included in a plan are for that month and do not roll over. Work beyond the allowance is charged at $95 per hour, and only ever begins after you approve it in writing.

Guarantees

• Free cleanup on a plan. If a site under an active plan is compromised, we clean it at no extra charge.
• We break it, we fix it. If an update we performed causes a fault, we restore and repair it at no charge.
• Thirty-day re-infection guarantee on cleanups. If the same site is reinfected within 30 days of a completed cleanup, we clean it again at no charge. This does not apply where the hosting account itself is compromised, where access credentials are shared or reused after we rotate them, or where recommended changes are declined.

Billing

Plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, in US dollars through Stripe. Prices may change with 30 days notice, which never affects a period already paid for. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; cover continues to the end of the paid period.

Liability

We take reasonable professional care, but no maintenance service can guarantee that a site will never be compromised or never go down. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost revenue or lost data where a working backup was available.

Termination

Either side may end the arrangement at any time. On termination we revoke our access, remove stored credentials, and provide a copy of the most recent backup on request within 30 days.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Portugal, and the courts of Portugal have jurisdiction.
